Rocky View Brewing

Short version - beer and cocktail selection not bad, experience almost ruined by the service. Nice garden for drinks and live music but not much else going for it. Longer version - Went to see live music by Noel Johnson which was fantastic, everything else wasn’t. Arrived early to get a spot in the garden to see the set and the server who greeted us was rude period. She explained there was a waiting list for the garden area but could seat us in a firepit area. We asked if we could sit there and then move once a preferred table became free. She said no they don’t do that …. except they just did so for another group leas then 60 seconds before. Rude beyond belief and if it wasn’t for the live set we would have left there and then. Our server (different server) was great initially. We ordered apps which were ok (pretzel bites were dry and hard). We then ordered mains and after about an hour of waiting our server started to ignore the table and not even check in. We finally got our food just after about an hour and a half with no apology. Can’t tell for sure but, based on the food we had seen coming out much earlier, it looked like we were given smaller portions of fries for example. Like I said, can’t be sure but it was really poor. Do not recommend it at all. So many better places in town.

The atmosphere was great, live singing from Noel Johnson was a hit! The service was quite bad, especially the hostess and the wait time for food and drinks.
