The Queen’s Head

A proper local pub a stone’s throw from the high street. A nice addition to all the pretentious spots in town. Very down to earth pub and as old school English as they come. Dark inside even on the brightest day, sticky carpet that maybe hasn’t been cleaned for a few years and solid food on the menu and the usual on draft. Go for the bangers and mash, fish and chips and the curry - all really good.
